Custom Mind Flayer

The Bards are my favorite humans (creatures?) of all time and work literal magic—first, the Mind Flayer. Let me tell you that the twisted shaft does wonders. The sensation and the sounds are heavenly. I have several monsters from this company and this one works for me the best like something created just to give me pleasure. It's not a toy that brings a lot of girth (plenty of other options) but it brings wonderful texture and it easy to manipulate in many ways. The MF is a 10/10 for sure.

I also cannot give enough praise to the Bards for their customer service with custom orders. I contacted them via email with my vision, complete with photos and diagrams. They responded next days and worked with me to find the correct mixture of colors and glitter. Once it was poured, they send me photos just to make sure that I bought off on it. The end to end service with The Wandering Bard Toys is unparalleled.

Please enjoy the photos on my monsters. Both custom pours. Small Galaxy marble fade + glitter with suction bottom, and an XSmall Scarab + copper marble fade with suction bottom.

The buying process was made easy by the bards top tier customer service helping nail down the details from my imagination to the order. The creation and shipping were super fast for a one of a kind custom.
There is a lot of detail in this feature rich mold. The bumps on the bold mind flayer head are subtle but add so much. The head really leads the way with the angle and bumps. The tentacle twist and taper on the shaft is a delight. The suction base is sturdy and stays put where you want it to be. I'm glad to add this to my collection and it is a lot of fun.

This was my first order from TWB, and I got this in x-small, medium firmness. I chose Midnight for the base and Sea Witch for the rest.
First: the colors. So TWB's twitter has photos + vids of their toys with their matte surface texture wearing dark colors so vibrantly I thought they were all in Near-Clear. But then my custom Mind Flayer came in and I was so happy that it was just as rich as I was hoping!! Sea Witch is a gorgeous dark emerald that shifts to indigo in low light and bright green/gold in stronger lights. TWB's color selection makes my dark color loving heart happy.
The model: Even in x-small, this guy has some nice length for specific spot stim. The nubs on the back of the head don't look like much but you can definitely feel them in medium firmness! And the sculpt on the twisted shaft has this really satisfying "hand sculpted" smoothness to it.. Idk how to describe it, but it has this.. "organic-ness" that really makes it look and feel like a proper Sculpture. If that makes sense.

This for sure won't be my last toy from here!

LOVELY AND VERY FILLING :) The flat-topped but tilted head is similar to the minotaur, but he seemed to insert a little easier even though his crown measurement is slightly larger. I like the gradual flare as you go down the shaft as opposed to a medial ring.
