Custom Mimic

This is my first purchase from the Bards, and I'm glad to say they delivered! I got one of the pre-mades in Medium size and Soft firmness.

IMO, soft is the way to go, as it matches the tongue fantasy while being firm enough to stand upright (see pic). The tip is pointed for easy entry. After the tip, the girth remains constant up to around the middle point, where there is a noticeable increase all the way to the base.

On first insertion, I can take it up to the middle point. Then after some thrusting and warming up, I'm able to get past it and reach deeper. I'm not sure if it's because my current girth limit is around the size of this Mimic, but the feeling of "conquering" the middle point feels similar to taking a knot, except less jarring. It's a pleasant feeling, so knot-lovers looking for a more subtle experience may consider getting the Mimic.

There are some minor gripes, however. First off, the "chest" base is a bit small, and the teeth aren't that obvious (having them in a separate colour would help, but I'm not sure if that's doable), so this does affect the aesthetic part of the fantasy, if you're into that.

Another thing is if you plan to use this for thrusting, the base is slightly awkward to hold due to its shape, so those with smaller hands may have some difficulty. On the other hand, if you plan to ride this, note that it doesn't have a suction base, it's completely flat, so you'll need to account for that.

All that aside, my first session with the Mimic felt great, and I almost hilted it! I think it's an underrated companion, and I hope more people give it a chance. Definitely looking forward to trying out more of the Bards' offerings in the future. (Centaur or Minotaur mayhaps...)

It's very squishy and exactly what I wanted. Shipping was incredibly fast and the quality of the item is unquestionably top tier!

For aesthetic purposes I think the chest part should be larger so to better highlight that it is a chest. The teeth should also be painted white but I suppose one could do that at home.

I'm pretty new to any kind of toy like this but I knew I wanted to try something 'tentacle-y' so I got this friend in small and soft on a whim and i SUPER suggest it, they're a bunch of fun. The softer silicone is perfect for the tongue and with a bit of practice I've found some super fun ways of making it move kind of tongue-y as well externally, super suggest that if you try one of these guys out.
I also got the tip in a thermo color and thats so so much fun; the thermo indigo is really really pretty, both while cold and warm, and the effect is a lot of fun to play with even just with my hands. My custom marble fade turned out super super pretty; I got thermo indigo for the tip, midnight for the bottom color and an extra split in hazelnut for the 'box' base and it made the perfect blue void-y tongue, exactly how I imagined! 10/10 would open the wrong chest in a dungeon again
